CAMP COUNSELOR PROGRAM

The BRIDGE USA J-1 Camp Counselor Program, in collaboration with Ediphi, is a U.S Department of State Cultural exchange program that provides qualified students from the School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) of the University of Baguio with the opportunity to spend approximately 2-3 months in the United Stated participating as camp counselors during their summer break

 
  • You might teach campers Filipino words, games, dances, or other fun aspects of Philippine culture.
  • The friendships and international connections you make at camp may continue even after you return home.
  • 30,000+ participants from different countries joined the BRIDGE USA J-1 Camp Counselor Program in 2025.

Who Can Join?

  • Currently enrolled in any undergraduate program under the School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) at the University of Baguio.
  • 3rd year students (with Dean’s evaluation & endoresement)
  • Good academic standing 
  • Physically fit to travel through evaluation and testing
  • Must be available to stay in USA for 2-3 months
  • Age cap must not exceed 22 years old
  • Must have parents/guardians who are willing to finance the program
  • Effective in English communication skills
