Admission Requirements
I. Educational Qualification
- Applicants to a master’s program must have completed a baccalaureate degree from a CHED-recognized institution.
- Applicants to a doctoral program must have completed a master’s degree from a CHED-recognized institution.
II. Documentary Requirements
- Application Letter addressed to the Dean
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) in UB format
- Recommendation Form completed by employer or former professor/instructor [GSO-FO-001-Recommendation Form]
- Permit to Enroll (for government employees and UB employees)
- Transfer Credentials/Honorable Dismissal (no admission shall be granted without this document)
- Official Transcript of Records (OTR)
- PSA Birth Certificate or Marriage Certificate (for married female applicants, with Affidavit to use married name)
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
Transfer Credentials are mandatory for admission and are different from the Official Transcript of Records.
Enrollment Procedures
ONLINE ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES
- Register at UB Student Portal.
- Click “Apply as a New Student”, complete all the needed information and click submit the registration. You will receive an email regarding your APPLICANT ID NUMBER that you will use for the reservation fee.
- Download and fill-out the Declaration and Waiver Form and Data Privacy Consent Form
- Pay the Reservation Fee of Php 2,000.00 to any UB accredited Banks.
- Note: The reservation fee is NON-REFUNDABLE but will be credited to the tuition fee once enrolled.

- Prepare and scan the documentary requirements (PDF format ONLY) .
- Go to the New Student Online Credentials Submission Form and upload the scanned copy of admission requirements and reservation fee acknowledgement receipt.
- The Admissions and Records Center (ARC) will check all the submitted documents and approve your application for enrollment.
- ARC sends a copy of your courses taken to the Dean’s office for evaluation.
- Note: If the Dean has queries before crediting a course, he/she may email you for clarification.
- . If there are no concerns, the Dean emails the result of the evaluation.
- The concerned Dean/Enrollment Adviser/School Secretary encodes the courses based on the result of the evaluation.
- You shall receive an email with your UB Student ID number, procedures on how to access the enrollment portal, and how to activate your UB email address.
- Pay the required down payment (35%) of the total tuition fee in any of the accredited banks or at the UB Cashier.

- Upload the scanned copy of receipt of downpayment to the Online Payment Verification Form.
- After five (5) working days, you may now check your schedule on the Student Portal.
WALK-IN / CAMPUS ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES
- Prepare original and photocopy of all admission credentials.
- Proceed to the Dean’s office for evaluation and crediting of courses. You will be given an admission slip signed and approved by your Dean.
- Register at UB Student Portal.
- Click “Apply as a New Student”, complete all the needed information and click submit the registration.
- Fill-out the Declaration and Waiver Form and Data Privacy Consent Form
- Submit the original and photocopy of admission requirements to the admission officer.
- Once admission documents are verified, the admission officer gives your Student ID number.
- Pay the reservation fee of Php 1,000.00 at the UB cashier and present the receipt to the admission officer.
- Admission officer returns the photocopy of admission requirements with the copy of the student directory.
- Proceed to the Dean’s office for the encoding of courses based on the results of the evaluation.
- Pay the required down payment (35%) of total tuition fee at the UB cashier.
- Note: Separate receipt for the reservation fee and downpayment.
- View your schedule on the student portal.
- Proceed to the MIS Office at F-Building for your school ID Application.
