BRIDGE Cultural Exchange Program - SWAT

Summer Work and Travel (SWAT) Program, in collaboration with ZIP Travel Philippines, providing lifelong learning opportunities that foster cross-cultural competency and enhance the practical application of soft and hard skills for professional development.

 
  • Formally established through a signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) in 2011, the opportunities and the collaborations with the likes of ZIP Travel Philippines have then opened an avenue for upcoming partneships for student and career development in national and global exposures or metrics, all while addressing other sustainable development goals for future programs and academic fullfillment down the line.
  • Formerly known as Exchange Visitors Program now BRIDGE USA with 1,188 applicants as of 2025

Who Can Join?

  • Currently enrolled at UB (Undergraduate student level)
  • 3rd & 4th Year level (with Dean’s evaluation & endoresement)
  • Good academic standing 
  • Physically fit to travel through evaluation and testing
  • Must be available to stay in USA for 3 months
  • Age cap must not exceed 23 years old
  • Must have parents/guardians who are willing to finance the program
  • Effective in English communication skills
