Student Discipline

Student discipline and formation comprises the concerted efforts of the University to bring forth the right order of things. This includes disciplinary provisions that instill responsible behavior and respect towards the members of the University community.

Through this, an environment conducive to learning is being established. The Student Discipline and Formation helps ensure students’ compliance with the Student Code of Conduct by providing a system through which students and university employees can air grievances and file complaints against fellow students.

The system is fair and/or conforms to the requisites for due process. The office takes the tone of reform more than punishment in deciding cases. Students who are found in violation of the Code of Conduct are given sanctions that are humane and respectful of one’s dignity.
