UB’s RDC-ECOS Team Donates Computer Sets

The University of Baguio's RDC-ECOS team helps out three different schools by giving them computer sets.

UB CARES by donating computer sets to Barangay Lucnab, Happy Hollow National High School and Ucab Elementary School on November 21, 2022 to improve information and communication services as well as help schools in ICT requirements beneficial to teachers and students alike.

For Barangay Lucnab, acknowledging the donation was Barangay Captain Hon. Jerry B. Esteban together with the barangay council;

For Happy Hollow National High School, acknowledging the donation was the School Head, Mr. Rey D.Gapasin along with the faculty members of the school;

For Ucab Elementary School, acknowledging the donation was the Assistant Principal, Ms. Rachel Balacdao on behalf of the School Principal, Mr. Martin E. Napeek Jr., together with the faculty members of the school;

Present during the turnover is the UB Director of RDC & ECOS, Dr. Isagani A. Paddit and ECOS staff, Mr. Ireneo Matic, Mr. Elmer Walis of Inventory, and personnel from the Management Information System Office namely Mr. Vaughn A. Martinez and Mr. Aladdin V. Abaga. Also present is the Athletics Director, Mr. Henry B. Batocong and representatives from HRMC and RMO joined the activity namely, Mr. Aydel Joseph L. Malaluan and Ms. May-an C. Tinangag and University Driver, Mr. Ryan Galace.

UB Bikers Event: Promoting Wellness and Making a Difference

The University of Baguio (UB) recently held the UB Bikers event, a fundraising activity aimed at supporting various causes while promoting a healthy lifestyle. With the participation of bikers from different organizations, including esteemed guest Baguio City Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong, the event showcased the community’s commitment to making a difference. Children, teenagers, and alumni of UB, along with faculty and students, came together to contribute their efforts and create a positive impact. The event not only raised funds for charitable organizations but also emphasized the importance of physical and mental well-being.

STELA & SBAA Join Forces in Promoting the Welfare of Visually Impaired Individuals

Visually impaired members of the V.I.P.P.D. attended a lecture-consultation by STELA and SBAA. The goal was to assist them in managing their finances and business sustainably. Dr. Candido Perez discussed entrepreneurship, while Mr. John V. Balanquit talked about personal finance. Attendees had the chance to ask about maintaining a business, effective product marketing, and finding reliable suppliers.
