School campaigns are considered great initiatives to disseminate career information that will foster informed career decisions while at the same time promoting the university to a particular audience. For the University of Baguio, school campaigns are either set in motion by the university itself or taken as a response to an invitation.

The event organized by the Philippine International School-Qatar (PISQ) in the afternoon of November 15, 2024 (Philippine time), is one illustration of the university’s efforts to respond to career fair invitations. The activity was held via the Zoom video conferencing platform and was participated by grade 12 students, their parents, and eighteen other Philippine universities such as Ateneo de Manila, Mapua University, and Siliman University. Each university was asked to present specific information about their institution,  admission procedures, scholarships, specific requirements for students from Philippine Schools Overseas (PSO), academic programs offered, and submission dates. For the University of Baguio, the career-related information was conveyed by Ms. Shaira Jane Salingbay and Ms. Kristina Velasco from the Center for Counseling and Student Development (CCSD) office.

With the aid of technology, career fairs have now transitioned towards the virtual environment, hence such career activities have transcended the restrictions of the physical environment. Because of this, the University of Baguio was able to show support to PISQ in enriching the experiences of their students, in this instance, when it comes to college readiness and career pathing.
