Members and esteemed representatives from the University of Baguio‘s Center for Counseling and Student Development (CCSD), who provide a wide range of support for mental health matters inside and outside the classroom, celebrated World Mental Health Day (October 10, 2026) with initiatives that champion learner development and health.

Developing student-centered activities that build age-appropriate mental health awareness and provide accessible guidance services. Extending across the educational journey from elementary learners to high school students, university students, and employees.
With the initiatives directly supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDG) that advocate the importance of caring for mental and emotional health as part of overall well-being (Goal 3), UB moved forward with one timeless reminder worth carrying beyond Mental Health Month:
“You do not have to carry every burden alone, nor must you meet every expectation to be worthy of rest, support, and understanding.”
Thriving in the modern world is not about meeting every expectation, but about finding the support, space, and courage to become who you are. No soul should have to tackle everything alone.
