Held at the institution’s FGB Hall on October 13–15 and 20–23, the event had participants take part in simulated professional panel interviews to prepare them for real employment and job opportunities. Anchored on the theme

“#GrowLeadThrive: Growing with Purpose, Leading with Character, and Thriving with Resilience,”

The activity gave eight hundred and eighty-five (855) graduating students a chance to apply the knowledge and communication skills they gained in the Pre-Employment Seminar.

Reflecting on various Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that target the university’s commitment to quality education and lifelong learning (Goal 4) and to promoting relevant skills development and preparation for productive employment (Goal 8), the mock interviews provided practical preparation and student-centered support, helping the university help graduating students develop relevant skills, improve their employability, and prepare for the demands of a changing work environment.

Graduating UBians are inspired to take their next steps with purpose, uphold character in their chosen professions, and face future challenges with resilience thanks to the knowledge, skills, and confidence they gained from the activity.
