The University of Baguio Voices Chorale (UBVC) is set to compete in one of the most prestigious international choral competitions, the upcoming Taipei International Choral Competition (TICC) 2025, to be held at Taipei City, Taiwan. The group shall be competing with the best choirs around Southeast Asia.
The group is composed of 31 competing members accompanied by their conductor, Mr. John Glenn F. Gaerlan, and two accompanying staff, Dr. Froilan C. Aspa and Mr. Denver Koby L. Soriano.
The group shall be competing under the following:
- YOUTH CHOIR CATEGORY
- DATE: July 30, 2025
- VENUE: Song-yi Hall, Soochow University
- ETHNIC/TRADITIONAL CATEGORY
- DATE: July 31, 2025
- VENUE: Song-yi Hall, Soochow University
If the group meets the competition qualification, the group shall compete in the TICC 2025 GRAND PRIX COMPETITION to be held on August 1, 2025, at the National Concert Hall, Taipei City, Taiwan.
