In the spirit of the holiday season, the University of Baguio’s Linkages Office hosted an early Christmas get-together for its international exchange students on November 30, 2024, at Café Stella in Itogon, Benguet.
The event brought together nine Linkages staff members, four student assistants, and 11 exchange students from Khon Kaen University’s College of Local Administration in Thailand, Nagasaki Wesleyan University in Japan, and the College of Asian Scholars, also in Thailand.

The celebration began with a warm welcome and a delicious lunch, where attendees bonded over shared stories and cultural exchanges. The highlight of the gathering was a lively program designed to immerse the international students in Filipino traditions. Participants enjoyed classic Filipino games such as Pinoy Henyo, Hep Hep Hooray, and Guess the Word, which filled the Café with laughter and friendly competition.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, a gift exchange brought smiles to everyone’s faces as they exchanged gifts.

The afternoon continued with a tour of Café Stella, where attendees admired the scenic views and explored the local crafts on display. The picturesque setting provided the perfect backdrop for photos and meaningful conversations, creating cherished memories for the participants.
This early celebration spread holiday cheer and strengthened the bonds between the university and its international students.
