UBCL Offered Services

Other Posts

In the pursuit of making healthcare services more accessible to the general public, the University of Baguio Clinical Laboratory (UBCL) continues to offer more than twenty clinical tests to the community of Baguio City.

Among this list of services is HIV Testing, an indispensable laboratory test that can help people seek proper treatment and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Offering HIV Testing is in accordance with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 3: Good Health and Well-being, allowing the UBCL to help individuals seeking a diagnosis.

Apart from HIV testing, the laboratory also offers tests for blood chemistry (fasting blood sugar, total cholesterol, triglyceride, etc.), hematology (CBC with platelet, hemoglobin and hematocrit, clotting and bleeding time), clinical microscopy and parasitology (urinalysis, fecalysis), and immunoserology and immunohematology (blood typing, pregnancy test, syphilis, etc.).

The UBCL aims to continue providing healthcare services to the community, allowing people from the Baguio and neighboring communities to have access to medical testing.
