In its pursuit of providing balanced quality education, the University of Baguio has officially established a partnership with East West Educational Specialists Inc. to bring new learning opportunities to the students.
Having been operating in the education industry for over forty years, East West Educational Specialists Inc. is an organization dedicated to providing skills training that can enhance the skills, knowledge, and competencies of students through a wide array of certified learning programs and practical industry experience.
This partnership allows the university to offer micro-credential certificate programs through the School of Criminal Justice and Public Safety (SCJPS) and the School of Business Administration and Accountancy (SBAA). Starting this semester, students looking to expand their repertoire of skills in these schools now have access to the resources of East West Educational Specialists Inc., affording them the opportunity to enhance their skills and boost their careers with these flexible and focused learning opportunities.
The President of EW, Dennis Layug, presented these exciting new prospects during the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), which was attended by UB President Engr. Javier Herminio Bautista, Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) Dr. Janice Kaylyn Lonogan, SCJPS Dean Dr. Charesma Grace Lud-ayen, and Linkages Office Director Ms. Melanie Rulla-Saro.
This initiative is an extension of the university’s commitment to attaining the Sustainable Development Goals, in particular Goal No. 4 (Quality Education) and No. 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Through collaborative efforts with organizations such as East West Educational Specialists Inc., the university can continue to provide the best academic and educational support that it can to its students.
