On April 25, 2025, the University of Baguio (UB) welcomed a distinguished delegation from  National University MOA (NU MOA), marking a pivotal moment in both institutions’ pursuit of  academic excellence. This benchmarking collaboration was designed to deepen mutual  understanding and drive innovation across academic programs, administration, student services,  and research development at UB.

A Tour of Excellence

Led by Ms. Dolly Rose Manalang, Executive Director, the NU MOA administrators, faculty, and  staff embarked on an immersive tour of UB’s state-of-the-art function halls, facilities, and offices.  The visitors were introduced to UB’s diverse academic programs, specialized offices, and  advanced student services, offering them a firsthand look at the university’s commitment to quality  education and modern infrastructure.

Exchange of Insights and Best Practices

Following the tour, both universities engaged in a vibrant discussion. The NU MOA delegates  shared valuable insights and experiences, particularly regarding UB’s senior high school program.  In turn, Dr. Mutong and several subject heads from UB highlighted the institution’s best practices,  sparking a lively exchange of ideas on effective educational strategies. This dialogue created a  platform for both schools to share expertise and explore new approaches to enhancing  educational outcomes.

Pathways to Partnership and Innovation

The visit not only strengthened academic ties but also opened doors for future collaborations,  especially in senior high school programs and research initiatives. Both institutions recognized  the immense potential for joint projects that could elevate educational standards and foster a  culture of continuous improvement.

Commitment to Sustainable Development Goals

UB High School’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is reflected in its  ongoing efforts to provide quality education, promote decent work, reduce inequalities, and foster  strong partnerships. By prioritizing SDG 4, the school ensures inclusive and equitable quality  education and promotes lifelong learning opportunities for all. Finally, by embracing SDG 17, UB  High School actively seeks partnerships and collaborative initiatives, recognizing that strong  cooperation is essential to achieving sustainable development and driving innovation in  education.

As UB and NU MOA embark on this collaborative journey, they set the stage for a future defined  by shared growth, relentless academic improvement, and a collective commitment to shaping a  better, more inclusive educational development.
