Fresh from completing their international academic program, 10 students and 2 faculty members from the School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA) paid a courtesy visit to University President Dr. Javier Herminio D. Bautista on July 11. They recently returned from a two-week Short Course Exchange Program at Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Under the leadership of SEA Dean Ar. Ryan Benaoe, the delegation included 7 Architecture students led by Ar. Chris Jefferson Bauzon and 3 Environmental and Sanitary Engineering students led by Engr. Reymore Insas. During their stay, the participants attended academic lectures, engaged in collaborative learning, and immersed themselves in Indonesian culture.

This program is one of many student mobility initiatives support by UB. Encouraging cross-border learning is integral for nurturing globally competitive and industry-ready students that can rise to the demand of international industry. Giving students the opportunity to engage with other cultures and educational systems allows them to develop holistically while also facilitating a fun-learning environment where they can enjoy themselves during their studies.
