The School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) has officially sent off the next batch of students for this semester’s exchange program in collaboration with Khon Kaen University (KKU) in Thailand!
The ten students are from the programs Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Bachelor of Arts in English Language, and Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English, and will be visiting the KKU – College of Local Administration (COLA) to immerse in Thai culture and language and to gain firsthand experience in the field. During this journey, the students will be able to learn all about Thailand’s local government system, and they will also be able to guide Thai students in an English Camp Program, promoting cultural exchange and language development.
The students will be accompanied by two STELA faculty members, ensuring that they can safely acclimate to the area and that they are guided accordingly throughout the journey.
This program is a product of several years of partnership and collaboration between UB and KKU, resulting in a joint initiative that gives students access to learning opportunities that take them beyond the four walls of the classroom. The continued cooperation between universities ensures that the university is able to provide the very best resources for personal and professional growth to its students.
Congratulations to everyone on this journey!
