We Appreciate You So Much!
Here’s to our teachers, mentors, facilitators, and friends! A truly happy world teacher’s day to you. One day is not enough to express the gratitude of so many to the part you played in their lives. Let this day serve, however, as a sweet reminder that though you may not always hear it, we are ever grateful to you.
Thanks for being you! Thanks for being a teacher! Thanks for being a UBian!

UB Has Always Valued its Teachers
When Tatay and Nanay Bautista founded the Baguio Technical and Commercial Institute, better known back then as Baguio Tech., it was because they saw it fit to open their own school in order to truly deliver quality education to willing learners. They were both educators, dedicated teachers that saw their community in need of a good school to get proper education after the devastation left by World War II.
When Baguio Tech first opened it started with five teachers, they were Julian Reyes, Honorio Estepa, Canuto Mabalot, and of course, Tatay and Nanay Bautista. From the get-go UB understood the contribution of teachers to its vision and mission. Today, UB still values and recognizes the efforts, contributions, and dedication of its faculty to its continuing success.
UB has trained many competent professionals thanks to the undying dedication that its faculty gives in ensuring that every student graduates more than ready to face the world. The many accolades the university received are thanks in part to the mentoring, coaching, and facilitating of its talented pool of teachers.
