UB Makes History With Four Top 5 National Finalists During the 2026 Outstanding PERAA Members Awards

Reaching a historic milestone during the 2026 Outstanding PERAA Members (TOPM) Awards, the University of Baguio has continuously dominated through unwavering dedication to excellence. Garnering incredible recognition from hundreds of nominees from private educational institutions across the Philippines, all four of the university’s endorsed candidates were named Top 5 National Finalists for the said awards.

UB to the Top: 2026 Outstanding PERAA Members Awards

The unprecedented achievement places the institution’s representatives among the best educators and professionals in the country, affirming the University of Baguio’s steadfast pursuit of academic excellence, transformative leadership, and quality service. The distinguished national PERAA finalists, along with their achievements, are the following:

  • Dr. Donnavila Marie Panday-Hebster – Top 5 National Finalist, Most Outstanding Administrative Head

  • Dr. Veronica M. Bito – Top 5 National Finalist, Most Outstanding Full-Time Teacher

  • Dr. Warren G. Moyao – Top 5 National Finalist, Most Outstanding Academic Head

  • Dr. Rudina S. Abarientos – Top 5 National Finalist, Most Outstanding Administrative Staff

Having 100 percent of its nominees advance to the national Top 5 is an exceptional distinction that very few institutions have attained. More than an individual recognition, this milestone reflects the collective culture of excellence, innovation, servant leadership, and commitment to producing professionals who positively influence education and society.
