#Subscribed to Wellness: UB’s Love and Wellness Fair 2026 Transforms Advocacy into Action

Written by Lara Joi Ilumin

The Love and Wellness Fair 2026 marked the culmination of Love and Wellness Month Celebration 2026, which was spearheaded by the Center for Counseling and Student Development (CCSD). The collaborative event with the Student Supreme Council (SSC) transformed the Centennial Hall last February 24, 2026, into a vibrant hub of advocacy, empowerment, and student engagement.

The theme #Subscribed to the CCSD L-Series: #BeInvolved – Subscribed to Mental Health Awareness & Advocacies 2.0 was captured in the 14 featured booths from various schools. The flea market-style fair highlighted innovation, creativity, and advocacy-driven initiatives that support mental health awareness and student wellness. More so, the booths offered a mix of services, advocacy initiatives, student-led enterprises, and fundraising efforts, enriching the fair experience. Also, the fair’s format encouraged openness and accessibility, allowing the participants to visit and interact with the different booths at their own pace.

Apart from the different booths, a CCSD Help Desk booth was featured to promote social inclusion, protection of vulnerable groups, and fostering a sense of shared community, putting in action one of the pillars for ASEAN 2026. Through the promotion of the CCSD services, the students are directed towards having a communal effort when it comes to navigating the future.

Adding to the excitement was an Open Mic segment hosted by the Supreme Student Council (SSC), where students showcased talents through music, spoken word, storytelling, and other performances. The segment created a safe and supportive space for creativity, drawing cheers and applause while reinforcing that wellness includes freedom of expression and artistic exploration.

As the fair concluded, the Centennial Hall stood not only as a venue for activities but as a symbol of unity, where love was expressed through support, understanding, creativity, and collective action. At the University of Baguio, wellness continues to thrive as a lived experience—embraced, shared, and celebrated by all.
