The University of Baguio Science High School (UB-SHS) is proud to be the home of Dr. Thea P. Suaco, who was named the Most Outstanding Employee under the Teaching Category for this year’s PAMMADAYAW.
Hosted by the Department of Education (DepEd), PAMMADAYAW was established in service of recognizing Outstanding Employees and Service Awardees from both public and private elementary and secondary schools. It is a celebration of the exceptional work that teachers put into their profession, a commemoration of their commitment to ensuring that students from all walks of life have access to quality education that can lay the foundation for a promising future.
Entries for the PAMMADAYAW pass through the Division Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Committee. They go through dozens of entries every year from the different schools in the city, fielding through the various exceptional educators that make up the City of Baguio’s academic sector.
This year, Dr. Suaco was selected as the Most Outstanding Employee in the Teaching Category under the Private and Secondary Level, a grand honor that has come about through her hard work and dedication to her work. The awarding ceremony was held last September 26, 2024 at the PFVR Gymnasium.
