The University of Baguio School of Natural Sciences (UB SNS) publication Life Magazine is calling for submissions for an ongoing poster contest that will see the winning piece as the cover page for the 2023 limited edition printed copy.
The contest is open to all SNS students who are currently enrolled in this semester of Academic Year 2023-2024. Participants can choose between traditional or digital artworks, provided they are original and previously unpublished. For traditional artworks, the size of the canvas or illustration board should not be less than 12×8 inches and should not be more than 14×30 inches. Participants can use any medium of their choosing. For digital artwork, the aspect ratio should be 1080×1920 with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Submissions should be either in JPEG or PNG format.
The theme, “University of Baguio Beyond 75: Exploring the Frontiers of SNS” signifies the dedication of the institute to continuous growth and adaptability when it comes to educational and societal needs in the School of Natural Sciences. It puts the university’s 75th anniversary as a pivotal moment for future accomplishments and targets the frontiers of Social and Natural Sciences, highlighting its adaptability to changing educational landscapes.
