The University of Baguio proudly sends off Ms. Kazane Hayashida, one of our Japanese exchange students who has just completed her 10-month cultural and academic exchange under the BS Forensic Science program. Throughout her stay, Kazane immersed herself in Filipino culture, built lasting friendships, and engaged in hands-on learning experiences that enriched both her academic journey and UB’s vibrant international community.
“Studying here gave me the opportunity to meet wonderful friends. The friends I’ve met at UB are so friendly, helpful, and kind. Without their help, I’m sure I would have failed most of my subjects and wouldn’t have found studying enjoyable.
Moreover, the course Forensic Science was life-changing for me. Through its various topics, I discovered a new interest. As of now, I’m considering coming back to study the course that I found fascinating.
The most memorable experience was staying with a foster family. They helped me in many ways. When I was facing challenges, they gave me advice to overcome them. They introduced me to new places, food, and people. Thanks to them, I was able to find my place in the Philippines. The memories I shared with them are my treasure, and I will cherish them forever.”
