In 2021, the university announced a partnership with Lithan Academy in Singapore, a platform that connects students, professionals, and businesses through applied learning degrees, personalized on-demand training, and talent placement services.
Students pursuing degrees in Digital Marketing (School of Business Administration and Accountancy) and Software Engineering (School of Information Technology) can become full-time paid apprentices through Lithan Academy’s job placement services. Through their work-study programs, LITHAN Academy enables senior high school students to graduate with both a degree and work experience, giving them a competitive advantage in the workforce.
Lithan Academy has Edutrust certification and has been designated as an accredited Centre for Continuous Education and Training (CET) by SkillsFutureSingapore (SSG), a government organization under Singapore’s Ministry of Education. The academy’s dedication to learning innovations has been recognized by several prestigious awarding bodies, including the Microsoft Global Learning Partner of the Year Award, Asia’s Pearson College of the Year Award, and AL’s (Institute for Adulting Learning Singapore) innovPLUS Flame Awards.
