The City of Baguio and the City of Taebaek in South Korea recently united in a significant move to enhance collaboration and mutual development by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) alongside the University of Baguio (UB), Saint Louis University (SLU), and the University of the Cordilleras (UC). The MOU signing ceremony, held at the Baguio City Mayor’s Office on March 4, 2023, marked the beginning of a new chapter in the relationship between these two vibrant communities and the three esteemed northern universities.
Spearheaded by Baguio City Mayor Hon. Benjamin Magalong and City of Taebaek Mayor Mr. Sang-ho Lee, the momentous occasion was attended by the university presidents and officials, as well as the Baguio Councilor and the officials of the City of Taebak.
The MOU aims to promote cooperation in various areas, including improving international understanding, enhancing the development of joint educational and research projects, increasing individual educational opportunities, and enriching the educational environment of all parties.
