For decades, the University of Baguio and the College of Asian Scholars in Khon Kaen, Thailand have cultivated a strong and fruitful partnership, demonstrating the power of international collaboration in higher education.

This partnership, rooted in shared academic goals and cultural exchange, has been a cornerstone of mutual growth and development for both institutions since its inception, through the efforts of Dr. Reynaldo Bautista Sr. and Dr. Krasae Chanawongse, the Founder of the College of Asian Scholars. The UB-CAS partnership has facilitated numerous joint academic programs, faculty and student exchanges, and collaborative research projects. These initiatives have enriched the educational experiences of students and faculty alike, fostering a deep understanding of diverse cultures and educational practices.

Students from both institutions have benefited from the exchange programs, gaining unique global perspectives that enhance their academic and professional development. Faculty collaborations have led to joint research publications and innovative educational practices, further contributing to the academic prestige of both universities. Moreover, this partnership reflects a shared commitment to fostering global citizenship and addressing regional challenges through education.

By working together, the University of Baguio and the College of Asian Scholars have not only expanded their academic horizons but also strengthened the bonds of friendship between the Philippines and Thailand.

As the partnership continues to evolve, both institutions remain committed to exploring new avenues for collaboration, ensuring that their relationship remains a dynamic and integral part of their educational missions. Both universities have recently discussed possible academic collaboration on dual and joint degree programs.
