In celebration of its 75th Anniversary, the University of Baguio is proud to present Seeds of Time, a musical journey through time.
The concert embodies the eras of the past that have built up the resplendent present as a celebration of over seven decades of excellence. It’s a nostalgic look at the past and what’s to come in the bright future. The concert is a fundraiser for the Fernando & Rosa Bautista Foundation, a non-profit organization at the university dedicated to community outreach and social engagement.
Mr. Jovianney Emmanuel Cruz, a talented and internationally renowned pianist, will perform at the concert. He is a well-known artist who has traveled the world to compete in various contests and to perform with a variety of orchestral organizations. On the evening of the concert, he will perform alongside International Delphic Council (IDC) President Ms. Divina Bautista, Dr. Jennifer Marigza on piano, Mr. Emmanuel Allen, and Mr. John Glenn Gaerlan as conductor. The University of Baguio Rondalla, Voices Chorale, and Chamber Orchestra will also contribute to the historic occasion.
The event will be held at the W. Cameron Forbes Ballroom in collaboration with the Baguio Country Club on January 19, 2024, with cocktails and exhibit beginning at 4:00 p.m. and the concert at 6:00 p.m.
The price of the ticket is Php 1,000.00. For more information, please contact the Office of Student Affairs at 074-4424915, extension 295, and ask for Mr. Koby Soriano, UB Communications Staff.
