The visit, which took place from July 10 to 14, marked an important milestone in the growing relationship between San Antonio and Baguio City, as both cities signed a Friendship Agreement aimed at fostering collaboration in various sectors, including education, cultural exchanges, health services, and technological advancements.

On July 13, 2023, the Health Services and Educational Task Force of the San Antonio delegation had the pleasure of visiting the University of Baguio. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the university’s President, along with members of the academic council. A special program was arranged to introduce the delegation to UB’s diverse academic programs and highlight its ongoing internationalization efforts.

During their visit, the delegation had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions with UB faculty and administrators, exploring potential avenues for collaboration and partnership. The delegation showed particular interest in sharing best practices in the fields of health services and education, with the aim of enhancing the quality of education and healthcare provision in both cities.
