The SN | Aboitiz Power Group has officially opened up applications for BRIGHTS: Bridging Gaps in Higher Education Through Tertiary Scholarships. This article contains information regarding the requirements for application.
Eligibility
A candidate must:
- Be an incoming college freshman
- Be a bonafide resident of Bokod and Itogon, Benguet; Alfonso Lista, Ifugao; and Ramon, Isabela
- Have a general average of at least 90% based on Senior High School (SHS) transcript of records
- Be among the top ten (10) students of the SHS graduating class/strand
- Be formally admitted in these priority degree programs: Accounting, Agriculture/Forestry, Communications, Community Development/Development Studies, Economics, Education, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Health Sciences, Information Technology, Social Sciences, Sociology, and Statistics
- Not to be related to any SNAP employee by affinity or consanguinity up to the third degree
- Immediate family members or relatives up to the third degree of BRIGHTS scholars are not eligible to apply
- Belong to a low-income household, with a consolidated gross household income not exceeding Php 15,000 per month
Required Documents
- Residence certificate from the barangay
- Enrollment Assessment Form or Notice of Admission
- 2×2 recent photo
- SHS Transcript of Records and/or Certificate of Grades (Grade 11 and 12)
- Certification from School Registrar of placement in the Top 10 graduating class/strand
- Income tax return of parents or Certificate of Indigency from Municipal Social Worker Development Office (MSWDO) or Barangay

Application is open until June 15, 2025 only.
