The University of Baguio Research Innovation Extension and Community Outreach (RIECO) Office alongside members of the university’s Top Management will be holding an outreach event titled “Achieving Empowerment Through Captaincy” this coming September 24, 2024 (Tuesday).
Geared towards building empowered community leaders, the event aims to cultivate effective communication, teaching team captains how to articulate their visions and objectives to their teams to unite them towards a common goal. This approach not only boosts team morale; it also instills a sense of empowerment within team members, motivating them to work towards a shared purpose.
The speakers include UB President Engr. Javier Herminio Bautista, who will be speaking about Visionary Leadership; Vice President for Finance Mr. Johann Ben Bautista, who will be speaking on Financial Management; Vice President for Administration Atty. Rommel Ayson, who will be speaking on Good Governance; and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Janice Kaylyn Lonogan, who will be speaking on Effective 5’S Workplace Management and Practices.
The event will be held at the UB Centennial Hall from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
