In the effort to familiarize and expose the graduating UBians to potential job opportunities in the market, and to support them in the advancement of their careers, the Center for Counseling and Student Development (CCSD) carried out a Job Orientation last December 7, 2024 via ZOOM video conferencing platform. The activity was anchored on the theme, “Subscribed to the CCSD L-Series: Learning to Do: Employability Initiatives”.
As job orientations have become an integral part of bridging the gap between academic life and professional opportunities, esteemed and dedicated speakers from the government agencies discussed significant insights to aid the students as they embark on their career journeys effectively. More so, job vacancies from partner government agencies and private companies were gathered and posted on the CCSD’s official Facebook and Instagram pages which served as valuable resources for the interested students.
The job orientation marked a significant step in empowering students to transition from the academe to the world of work. By leveraging the technological opportunities and expert insights of the speakers, the activity fostered career readiness towards success and employability of our new breed of graduates.
