The University of Baguio celebrates with its UBian Freshies in its Freshmen Day 2022. This Freshmen day comes as an even more momentous occasion as it marks the first time it is celebrated face-to-face since the pandemic.
UB understands that talent and skills are just as important as academics, which is why it encourages different talents through its performing arts program. Under this students can join the UB Voices, UB Graces, UBBUK, UB Orchestra, and the Rondalla.
Athletics also come into play, students that display skills in any sports are also developed here at UB.
UBian Freshmen get to know more about their school and the different student organizations available to them as they browse the different booths set up at the UB Centennial Hall.
School of Dentistry
UB is currently the only school that offers a program in Dentistry and produces some of the best in their field.
School of Engineering and Architecture
one of the many booths of the different schools in UB with each able to offer so much to eager UBians.
School of International Hospitality and Tourism Management
Hailed as the “Home of Champions”, UB’s SIHTM continues to remain the top school in the hospitality industry.
School of Criminal Justice and Public Safety
One of the schools with a constant present at the top of the chain in the country’s criminology and forensics field.
Safety is also still strictly followed, with a limited number of students only allowed in the hall at a time along with all attendees being required to wear their facemasks, maintain a safe distance, and limit physical contacts.
UB freshies get to “travel” to different booths and have their passports stamped or signed, which they can then turn in for a chance to win UB merch in a raffle draw.
