Program details:
The DBP INSPIRE Scholarship Program aims to support outstanding scholars in their Bachelor of Elementary Education studies, which are subject to DBP policies and scholarship criteria. Screening and ongoing compliance with retention regulations.
Eligible Participants:
- Incoming first-year college students or higher-level college students
- Filipino citizens with GMC supported by a recommendation letter (from their previous school)
- Family or Guardians with an annual net income not exceeding Php 150,000.00
- GWA of at least 85% (no final grade below 80% from the previous school term)
- No existing scholarship or study grant from other benefactors
- Must satisfy the University of Baguio admission requirements
General Requirements
- Applicant Personal Background Form (DBP Scholarship) rev1 (ATTACHED)
- Signed application letter expressing willingness to abide by the DBP policies and guidelines
- Duly accomplished DBP Scholarship Application Form
- Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) or Certificate of Indigency
- PSA/Local Civil Registry Birth Certificate
- Enrollment Form/Study Load, photocopy
- Photocopy of School Card with Final Grades (or Form 138)
- Recommendation Letter from High School Principal/College Dean attesting to performance
- National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Certification (for certain applicants)
- Two (2) copies of 2×2 ID photos

- Submission of requirements does not automatically guarantee scholarship approval
- Applicants shall undergo screening and evaluation based on DBP and UB requirements
- Scholars must comply with the academic, documentary, and complete requirements
- Applicants are encouraged to prepare their documents early to avoid delays
