Policies Governing the Investigation and Resolution of Disciplinary Cases

     The main function of the Student Discipline Division is to inculcate the University of Baguio Culture among the students and ensure the implementation of the University disciplinary policies that are contained in the Student Handbook. In general, the handling of cases should adhere to principles upholding the rights and dignity of the student, while at the same time committing itself to justice and relevant principles of the law.

     Article XIV of the Student Handbook embodies the general policy on student discipline:

The formation of character is one of the most important features of the educational system at the University. For this reason, the imposed discipline, while observant of the rights and feelings of others, is firm, especially when the reputation of the student body and institution are at stake. Students are expected to manifest, both within and outside the University, the respect for order, morality, personal honor, and rights of others, which is required of God fearing men and women.
