The School of Nursing coming back

After a lengthy period of inactivity, the School of Nursing (SON) is back – stronger and more competitive as ever.

School year 2017-2018 saw the School of Nursing come back in full swing as its students showcased their skills and knowledge (still, with tender love and care) in various competitions and activities in and outside the school.

In November 2017, Nursing students participated in the different programs of the Department of Health. Likewise, UB-SON participants went home as third placers in the 1st Philippine Nurses Association Regional Inter-Institution Case Presentation.

For active representation of the University in numerous regional quiz bees, spelling competitions and national research colloquiums by the SON students, SON was presented awards during the Parangal UBian 2018.

Furthermore, SON proved that intellect and talents can go together by bagging the first runner-up title in the university-wide talent competition Fusion.

Guaranteed that this is only the beginning, SON will be bolder (but, still, with tender love and care). –Katreena Jasmine Fajardo
