Greetings!
On
behalf of the host university and the tournament organizers, we are delighted
to extend this formal invitation for your institution’s participation in this
year’s 8th National Debate
Championship. For the first time this most prestigious tournament will
take place in
Northern
Luzon
where debate is now being ardently supported.
The
tournament which will be
held at the
University
Of
Baguio
on October 22-28, 2006, with
the theme of “Rational Excellence through
Competitive Eloquence”, aims to attract the country’s finest and
enthusiastic debaters; hence we would be honoured if your institution
participates in this tournament.
The
tournament aims to create a competitive platform where the value of debate on
issues of general concern will be highlighted by the young minds of this
country. The competition promises total intellectual experience for competitors
and aural pleasures for the adjudicators.
All of these, we promise, will happen in the temperate and cool
Baguio
climate.
